The state of Maharashtra has been prospering but the state of its rural health care, as per a recent article in The Hindu, is “apathetic” because of the “shortage of doctors, staff and equipment”. Kankavli, a town in Maharashtra’s Sindhudurg district, had been facing a similar problem since decades. It is to address this issue that Dr. Anant R.
